1997 - 31 January 2004

The death of Space Roller, aged 6 has been announced.

Since his birth in 1997 and throughout his short life, Space Roller has led the life of a nomad, being born in Terband-Heerenveen, Netherlands, settling into France (fathered by A. Deleporte) before H. Porters of Holland took up the role of Space Roller’s guardian. In 2000, Space Roller became the first of his kind in Belgium with F. Bodet and H. Heyblom guiding it through the latter stages of its life.

Space Roller was well kempt and pristine, and a credit to its family. At night, it had an almost seductive nature to it, attracting a large audience as it flexed it’s muscles and entertained hundreds.

Space Roller died whilst on holiday in Jette, Belgium.

Tragedy struck on 31 January when a fire engulfed Space Roller’s winter residence. Space Roller was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Space Roller is survived by Disk-O, migrating from Italy, although the loss of Space Roller undoubtedly leaves a hole in the Bodet and Heyblom family.

No flowers.
