Alton
Towers |
Halloween
at the Alton Towers Hotels |
13th-29th
October |
No
proper Halloween shindig at Alton Towers (quelle
surprise) but those staying in the resort are
welcome to join in a 'ghost hunt' in the hotels'
grounds, a fancy dress competition and from the 17th
there will be a haunted maze, although it's unlikely
to be of the calibre of Terror in the Towers. |
Chessington |
Halloween |
6th-31th
October |
Feel
the farce at Chessington as Halloween is invaded by
Star Wars characters, including light sabre battles,
Jedi Training Academy and many other non-Halloween
extras. Open until 8pm from 21th October. |
Disneyland
Paris |
Halloooween |
7th
October - 5th November |
Chessington
aren't the only park to sell out as Stitch is now
your compare for Disneyland Resort Paris' Halloween.
As usual, the event includes the Disney Villains
parade, an elaborately decorated park and face
painting for the kids. |
Europa
Park |
Spooky
Halloween Weeks |
October
1st - 5th November |
One
of the best in Europe, it has to be said, offering
'Horror Catacombs', shows for children, a 4D show,
daily parade, face painting and hundreds of
thousands of pumpkins. From 28th October there is a
special night-time show, parade and fireworks, and
on the 31st there is a special Halloween party with
exclusive extended opening of the park for those
attending the party. |
Heide
Park |
'Murderous
Fun at Halloween' |
October
27th |
Heide
Park's website is possibly the worst in the world,
and gives no information about Halloween other than
the fact it is on October the 27th. So book that
flight now! |
Holiday
Park |
Shocktober |
October
1st - November 5th |
The
usual fancy dress competitions and pumpkin carving
form the backbone to this |
Legoland
Germany |
Halloween
at Legoland |
14th-31st
October |
Once
again, it appears Legoland Germany is the only
European Legoland to acknowledge Halloween with a
party on the 31st, and Halloween face painting and
workshops from 14th-31st. |
Movie
Park Germany |
Halloween
Horror Fest |
1st-31st
October |
This
looks pretty good; three horror mazes (House of
Horror, Dr. LeMorte's Laboratorium and City of the
Damned), Terror Train, Battle of the Lost show as
well as Don't Trust 'til Dawn, a new show for 2006.
Late opening at weekends and on the 31st. |
Parque
Warner |
Halloween
2006 |
7th
October - 5th November |
Halloween
parade, Halloween restaurant, Halloween Factory for
the kids, what looks like a haunted walkthrough
through the Batman queueline (Arkham Asylum) and
Halloween shows. |
Port
Aventura |
Halloween
'06 |
30th
September - 12th November (park closed on 2nd, 3rd,
6th and 10th November) |
Usual
attraction overlays (such as haunted queueline on El
Diablo) as well as 'Horror in Penitence where the
zombie sheriff invites you into his passage of
terror. I'm told it is a lot better than their
website makes it sound. They also have their famous
'Hotel Burn' where occupants will be kept up into
the early hours in Europe's only 'haunted hotel' |
Thorpe
Park |
Fright
Nights |
13th

This
is shaping up to be quite some event - Circus of
Horrors will be touring the park and there are
three mazes, one of which is new for this year. |
